Picasso

The Succession Picasso is managed by a legal Administrator.

Pablo Picasso’s son, Claude Ruiz Picasso, was appointed by the judge for the Indivision (President of the Tribunal de Grande Instance acting as an urgent applications judge) as Administrator of the Indivision for the monopoly of artistic property attached to the Work of Pablo Picasso, the joint ownership attached to the trademarks, the name, the likeness, the personality rights, and for all things linked to the defence of his work and person, with the powers defined by the articles 1873-5 to 1873-9 of the French Civil Code.

Only the administrator of the Succession Picasso has the capacity to authorize or prohibit the use of the works, name and likeness of Pablo Picasso. 
 

The administrator reports on his management to the Indivision members according to statutory conditions.
